My sessions start with warming exercises, to limber the body and prepare for deeper stretches. This is followed by classical Yoga postures, Pranayama’s (breath control) and meditation and relaxation. I believe strongly in the power of the breath and the Prana that rides on it. My sessions focus on breath and movement together.

The word Prana has no direct interpretation but we can think of it as Vital Energy. Moving the Prana on the breath nourishes each cell in the body. The breath is therefore deeply cleansing and detoxifying as well as energising.

Yoga is a comprehensive route to Natural Health. Through diligent practice, Yoga calms the mind, strengthens and limbers the body and releases the spirit.



I've been practicing Yoga for 30 years and teaching for 15. I'm passionate about the joy of movement for everyone regardless of age, size or skill and I'm experienced at meeting individual needs within mixed ability groups.
